Two youth fastpitch events based in Colorado with a determined focus on player data and analytic evaluation will combine in 2025, as announced by tournament directors for both the Triple Crown Sports P5 event and the Patriot Games.
Set for June 26-28, 2025, the new tournament will be dedicated to attracting the most competitive and successful club teams around the country. Scheduled just ahead of the Triple Crown Colorado 4th of July event, this newly constructed tournament will attract coaches and recruiters from the nation’s top college programs. Selected games will feature real-time data capture from both hitting and pitching, anchored by the TCS Performance Lab, the country’s most well-equipped setting for analytics in the sport of softball. Each team attending in 2025 will be scheduled for an evaluation sequence in the Lab. "Following the success of the inaugural year of the Patriot Games, we have been committed to making this event the best it can be,” said Patriot Games director Scott Smith. “It became evident that merging our event with Triple Crown Sports would enhance the experience for players, college coaches, and the entire fastpitch community. Collaborating with our friends at Triple Crown Sports allows us to simplify logistics and create something truly exceptional for the sport as a whole." "We are thrilled to merge our two prestigious events, marking a significant milestone in the fastpitch softball community,” said Krista Crawford of Triple Crown’s fastpitch division. “This collaboration symbolizes our commitment to innovation and providing unparalleled experiences. Together, we will be on the cutting edge of testing athletes in-game and at our state-of-the-art Performance Lab, bringing new insights to the fastpitch world."
